Nose Thread Lift

One size does not fit all

Every individual’s nose is different.
Some noses are more suitable for thread lifts, while for some, other types of aesthetic treatments might be suitable. And in some cases, a combination of both a nose thread lift and other procedures is necessary for optimal results.
Shiro Aesthetic Clinic will determine which nose augmentation method is suitable for you and will produce your desired result via a non-invasive nose augmentation service in Singapore, without you having to go through surgery.

Now, with technologies, materials, and techniques in Singapore, non-surgical thread lifts utilising nose threads and nose fillers are now the preferred methods of choice as they do not take much time to perform and also have less risk involved.

Deciding on Your Options

Higher Nose Bridge

Nose fillers are recommended for individuals with a flat or low nose bridge, as it gives an increase in volume and nose bridge height. Although nose thread lifts can achieve a similar effect, many threads are required, which will increase costs and is not a cost-effective option. Nose thread lifts are more suitable for individuals who already have some nose height but would like to achieve a better definition.

Contoured + Straighter Nose

Nose threads are recommended for sculpting a more defined nose. They can help in creating a sharper and straighter nose by lifting the midline of the nose from the tip right up to the bridge, thus, achieving a sculpted nose without increasing the width of the nose.

Smaller + Sharper Nose Tip

Previously, nose fillers were used to create a sharper nose tip.
However, there is a small risk that overfilling or movement of filler can cause the nose tip to look broader.
Nose threads are more effective in augmenting the nose tip to make it sharper and smaller by utilising tiny anchoring points like cogs to lift the nose up during insertion without any risk of making the tip larger. The threads create a foundation and scaffolding effect, resulting in a lifted tip relative to fillers.

How Long Do Threads and Fillers Last?

Depending on the type of filler used, the duration of effect for fillers normally lasts 12-24 months. This is regardless of whether they are hyaluronic acid based or non-hyaluronic acid based, the lifestyle of the individual and body absorption.

The duration of threads is also dependent on the material of the threads, namely PDO/PLLA/PLC, which are mostly based on dissolvable surgical sutures, as well as lifestyle. They typically last 9-24 months and are completely dissolved after insertion.
